This Privacy Policy explains how Friends Guide (the "Service") collects, uses, and protects information across its account types — Admin, Merchant, Employee, Store, and Customer. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account information — name, email address, phone number, and password, tied to the specific guard (Admin, Merchant, Employee, Store, or Customer) you registered under.
• Business data — product catalog, pricing, inventory levels, purchases, stock transfers, orders, and store details entered by Merchant, Employee, or Store accounts.
• Personal finance data — vehicles, expenses, incomes, budgets, and loans that Customer accounts choose to log through the personal finance module.
• Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information collected automatically to keep the Service secure and functioning.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including inventory, pricing, and order management.
• Resolve and display prices, generate the summaries and reports shown back to you.
• Communicate with you about your account, requests, or support inquiries.
• Maintain audit trails and prevent fraud, error, or unauthorized activity.
• Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

4. Separation of Account Data

The Service uses independent authentication guards for Admin, Merchant, Employee, Store, and Customer accounts. Data associated with one account type is not shared with another, even where the same email address is used to register more than one account type.

5. Customer Personal Finance Module

Vehicles, expenses, and loans logged by Customer accounts are used solely to generate the summaries, reports, and balances displayed back to you within the Service. This data is not used for any purpose beyond providing that functionality to you.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared with the merchant or store you transact with in order to fulfill an order or purchase, with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting or email delivery), or where required by law, regulation, or legal process.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and business data for as long as your account remains active. Records we're required to keep for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes — such as completed order or payment history — may be retained even after an account or related data is deleted, as permitted by law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You may access and update your account information at any time from your profile settings. You may also request permanent deletion of your Customer account and its associated data — see our Delete Account & Data page for details on how this is handled.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
